Strangely, I registered the omega before "52" — which, of course, echoes the pilot episode where Walt's got "50" formed out of turkey bacon on his eggs.

Julie Salamon's The Devil’s Candy is a great read chronicling how THE BONFIRE OF THE VANITIES movie adaptation became a disaster.  What's cool is that she was given such thorough access to the production because the assumption was that she'd be chronicling the making of a masterpiece.
