Chris Nolan meets Topher Grace. With their power combined…
10 See Tiff is right by my birthday
20 Start looking into cost of visiting
30 See the hotels are all booked and that I don't have enough cash
40 Rationalize that I'll see the movies later anyway
50 End up regretful that I skipped TIFF, imagining how awesome it would have been
60 GOTO 10
I'd like to believe Nolan actually has a stable filled with actors. "There's a good boy, Michael Caine, have some sugarlumps"
They left the ominous note, "it's a *colony* of seagulls"
I'm pleased that Oliver Platt had a career after being the backup singer on the right.
I have instructed that three songs be played at my funeral. Though I'm not a religious man, I know my family would probably be more comfortable giving me a Christian burial, so since I'll not be in much of a position to argue, I'll have these tenuously-religious songs performed by the choir and/or band:

Bliss. Parody of/homage to old Brit horror flicks may not be as accessible as Shaun of the Dead's zombie pastiche or Hot Fuzz's celebration of meathead action, but it's hard for me to think of any other 2013 film I might be looking forward to as much as this, if any.
Watching the trailers before STOKER, my brother and I endured the trailer for STARBUCK. We'd seen its poster on the way in, proudly showing off wreaths from film festivals it had paid to be in, but had no idea what sort of generic, formulaic ugliness STARBUCK was really going for. Its high-concept idea, its…
"Nothing kills a movie faster than onscreen therapy" can't be more incorrect. Watching two talented actors having a conversation that reveals weaknesses and desires can be enthralling. As long as the actors are involved and showing how the details affect them rather than just telling, it makes for a grand watch, from…
He might have been a very good manager with an impeccable record who got on really well with the staff before, and they went with him on it. But if so, for a first mistake, that's a doozy.
I doubt that's a pic from the event. I'm guessing that's a con cosplay. The article doesn't mention anyone in Iron Man gear.
I read this hoping to CHRIST this manager didn't work for the same chain I do.
Luckily, he didn't, but still - we're not going to hear the end of it. From cons who routinely seek to assign blame anywhere and exploit customer service for free stuff, to the never-ending and redundant corporate sensitivity training.…
Personally, I'm all for this if each one gets a stars-of-MST3K commentary.
"Really, what I was writing was just THE GREAT GATSBY updated a little. It was "apostolic" fiction - where a surviving apostle tells the story of his hero. There are two men and a woman. And one man, the hero, is shot to death."

He really stood out to me in THE SOCIAL NETWORK. The Winklevoss boys could have so easily been cartoon bullies, but he helped make them sympathetic. Plus, his comic timing is great; "I'm 6'5", 220, and there's two of me" was delivered brilliantly, and his cameo is the best part of the otherwise horrible HALL PASS.
"More 1994 Bai Ling!"
- Me, anyway
