I'm gonna save this comment so I can use it to explain the concept of false equivalency to my son when he's old enough

Did Nussbaum actually do a stint at Television Without Pity? Based on interviews with her, I'd thought she had only been active on the forums.

Guys, Veena Sud has to be in on this. She will be representing some next-level smugness, as her show was neither critically- nor audiencely-acclaimed, but it's only because she engaging in some High-Level Storytelling that modern humanity simply cannot grasp.

I loved the apple & celeriac salad, which I notice is still on the menu, but we honestly

I was at that show! It was no less weird in person. In fact, it was even weirder because we the audience had no idea if it was a bit or if she really was having a breakdown in front of us. People kept giving her encouraging applause, thinking it was the latter, and then just got more and more confused. Everyone just
