At least one guy had the balls to say nigga without fearing reprisal. Honestly, it's part of what makes a lot of the lines funny.

Based on her SNL appearances, I think Scarlett is a good comic actress. Her refusal to accept that, doing dramas or action movies instead (which are her weaknesses), is what makes her appear awful or mediocre.

@SpongyandBruised:disqus Definitely one of my favorite comedies and the best parody movie to date. In a lot of ways, it's actually a better "teen" movie than many of the ones it parodies. Both things are probably true because of the earnestness you mention (which is present throughout the flick).

Oh, sorry. I was just repackaging the argument for purposes of making it clearer for anyone who wanted to join. I didn't mean to make it look like I didn't read your post or didn't get what you meant.

It's hard for me to watch scenes like that one without remembering all the jokes in "Not Another Teen Movie" where everyone can't see how hot the lead female is because "She's got glasses and a ponytail!".

All you said is what dissenters and the show itself should have always presented. People mention age but that's just the surface reason of their problem with Jeff and Annie. The real reasons are closer to what Spongy and Bruised said above. People go to age because its easy to argue and verify over tougher to explain

Okay, nothing against Craig J. Clark here, but as a newbie viewer who started watching around the back half of S3 and who's going through the rest of the series in order, even he thinks that Jeff and Annie is "creepy" because of age difference. When the hell did society change to the point that that seemed like

Literally anything with a lot of Entertainment 720 is the best episode of Parks & Rec.

Best bit is that realistically they hit one of Joel's pet peeves by referring to "The Soup" as "Talk Soup". Second best is continuing their slightly offensive "most-obvious-characteristic" thing by assuming the award Jim Rash won is a Tony.
