You can thank the MN liquor store owners lobby for that.
No, but their high school gets a sweet new fieldhouse.
Agreed, which is why I mentioned 49ers fans as well (mostly because I was in Vegas during Super Bowl XLVII … some of the shittiest behavior I've seen from human beings. Most times I'd heard the word "f——t" since middle school).
Wise decision.

That is very true* … but that particular shade of ignorance/assholery is what I've dealt with the most. I totally respect the history, though.
1) Rex Ryan. Jones is a shit GM but a great owner.
If anybody ever gives you shit for not sticking with a team, you just need to respond with two words: "Matt. Millen."
Viking fan here. I wouldn't say Packers fans in general are the "worst" (I've met some garbage 49ers fans) but some of the worst attributes of sports fandom have come from Packer fans I've encountered. Some examples …

I don't blame anybody who doesn't have time for his avant-garde stuff, but "pretentious" isn't a fair criticism. The guy wanted to write music similar Edgard Varese's music: living in an open space and organic. That was what he was going for in his orchestral stuff and smaller ensemble stuff.
I think that was covered in his autobiography.
If I ever become a pro wrestler (hasn't been ruled out yet), "Willie the Pimp" will be my entrance music.

My brother used to live in Ironwood. I had a blast visiting that part of the UP once and trying out a bunch of MI beers. Such a gorgeous area that I hope to visit again soon.
I'll admit that the selection and quality of the store are very impressive.
Did you drive into the UP to get it?
A new Total Wine and More store opened near my work. If you're not familiar, it's basically Wal-Mart but for booze. Apparently, they open a lot of these places next to towns with municipal liquor stores.
