To be fair, Canon in D is boring as shit.

Come and See isn't as depressing as Grave of the Fireflies, which is weird because its young protagonist goes through FAR worse treatment. He's not cast aside … he's literally and figuratively being dragged through the mud through out the movie.

The way he alternates between girlish mumbling and outright shrieking is unbearable for me.

Didn't dig a lot of his work, especially Titanic, but he could hit it out of the park. The "Ludlows" theme from Legends of the Fall is one of my favorites.
