RE: Parentbending. In the third episode it seemed like the firebending triads were on top of the underworld. I'm guessing they got that way after Yakone was taken out.

Completely unfounded prediction that is based on nothing we've seen thus far: If Amon isn't the villain next season, it'll be revealed that the LT is a go-between for the spirit world and he'll just pick up right where he left off with their next harbinger.
