There was (and probably still is) a greasy diner in Columbia, MO called G&D Steakhouse, where I ate all the time when I lived there. The burgers and pizza were decent, but I loved their gyros. I moved away 10 years ago, and my greasy diner-food tolerance has probably dropped enough since then that a visit there

Long story short, a coworker found a DOS machine in a closet a while back, and to my amazement it (a) still works, and (b) has a database installed on it that could be very handy for a project

Ha, good point. And DOS wasn't a whole lot more current than that by 1994. Windows 3.1 had been out for a while when he told us this.
