And going back to my original point, It seems really really stupid and misguided to waste any indignation on what happened to these three horses when slaughter houses, puppy mills, bull fighting, and animal testing on primates are things that are out in the open.

yes, if you're anti-war you can be sad about any soldiers killing people.  And yes, you can be upset when someone kills your dog or your horse or your beloved pet pig for that matter, whether you're vegan or not.  If you're a horse you probably won't be upset when hear that human you don't know has died.

oh hey, I think I came up with a solution.  Just send me the horses that die during the filming of Luck and I will personally eat them.  That way you retards will be happy and I can watch good t.v. shows.  everyone is happy!

"That seems patently unjust."
and yet, here we are

well, if you don't think that condescension is ever warranted, and you can look around at your fellow human beings and see not a single moron with tragically misplaced indignation among them, then you are probably a fucking moron.

I heard that Ginny Sack had a 95 pound horse penis removed from her ass.

hey society, unless you're vegan or fucking idiots you don't get to be up in arms about this.  (hint:  pigs and cows)
Just like you don't get to make a big deal about a crazy soldier who killed 16 people if you're not generally anti-war (hint:  bombs kill civilians)

The review for "Sweet Heart Sweet Light " was merely a four word review which simply read "Shit Heart Shit Light"

I found it to be one of the funnier lines from the episode

Right, but I'm not a professional musician or any other kind of artist.  I guess I just subscribe to the crazy idea that music or any other art motivated solely by money is usually not the best.  I'm just saying that it would be cool if they were excited in an artistic way to get back together and make new music and

You cut, you cut cut cut cut it

yeah, but it would be really cool if they could be honest about it being something else

It's a fucking great song

I mean, I'm not writing a scientific paper here.  I'm just saying that a lot of dudes I've known who spend a lot of time watching sports, reading about sports, talking about sports, sexually fantasizing about quarterbacks and driving around looking for queers to beat up also like really shitty music.

Thanks, this proves my point.  The reason SM assumed that Klosterman didn't like sports is that it's rare that someone who knows a lot about music would be really into sports.  (and proving my point further: Klosterman really likes Kiss)

There are exceptions of course, but I'll bet there's a pretty strong correlation.

I for one still find sports boring.  And I've also observed that a lot of people who are really into sports like terrible music.  it's a real thing.

Which part of the review wasn't about the music?  Seriously, I couldn't find one sentence.

You may be right but I was thinking more along the lines of, "oh no, it looks like a lot of people are talking about what a dirtbag our cash cow is! If we can show that his victim forgives him then it will take let the air out of their attacks."  You know, some kind of twisted ass logic like that.

My cynical self wonders if there's some kind of management or record label string pulling behind the scenes to make this happen.  It seems like the timing of this announcement makes it pretty clear that this collaboration is damage control in the wake of recent events.
