We love Tenacious Dawes, and here's why you should, too

I think 'Splash Waters' is the name of the Mormon owned water park that secretly baptizes everyone at the bottom of the water slides.

holy red scare! that picture's gonna give me nightmares

from the article:

uhh, yeah I guess?  touche?

because the boring shit you like is boring

It's astoundingly beautiful and exciting music.  The sounds and song structures are so fresh and original that it can be somewhat challenging but there are also many really catchy hooks and beats that even idiots can enjoy, and her voice is a force of nature.

I never got that either

eh, I would give a slight edge to Relationship, but I wouldn't say it's so cut and dry.  In Casino Out is pretty damn good too.

nope, this is good news

dude you are wrong on multiple levels.  For one thing the Pixies and Pavement reunion shows were really enjoyable, and very rewarding opportunity for people who never got to see the bands in their heyday.  For another, Mars Volta rocked hard as fuck when I saw them last year.  And finally, Sparta is terrible and no

Are they an "emo-punk band", really?  I'm not even being snarky, is that accurate?

I thought it was about how monotonously sensational the Jersey Shore is, with nearly every moment of every episode revolving around fucking and/or fighting.  When the show diverts from that as that scene did, Beavis and Butthead, who represent  the idiot target demographic for Jersey Shore, become so bored they fall

huh huh, you said 'bagging'.

I'm not sure if collagen injections are technically plastic surgery, but if you look at some before/after pictures of her it's pretty obvious she's juicin'

don't underestimate the chubby chaser demo

Yeah, it's pretty depressing.  To get an idea of how awesomely talented and interesting an unattractive young woman's music has to be to get even meager attention at all in indie rock see: Merrill Garbus (Tune Yards).

I believe that she writes the melodies and lyrics which are pretty basic and boring.  I'm also convinced that if her music is interesting at all (which it's not really), it's the production that makes it so.

ok, bye

They should totally play Son Seal's "Funky Bitch" next time Michelle Obama is on
