Same here, tragically ludicrous. I have a friend who has a woodsy-looking sleeve I absolutely adore. But I'd get sick of it in 18 months.

The Years of Rice and Salt is really, really good. I also like The Hammer and the Cross, which is about a better Norse resistance to the Christians.

The Story had an interview with the lead guitarist of the Stooges and they played the #2 song the year their album came out: "Tie a Yellow Ribbon 'Round the Old Oak Tree." There's always some disconnect going on, but that was just surreal.
