Another weird insight into Kenny's knowledge of the film industry was when he said that anything related to poor black people was popular these days, citing The Blind Side's huge box office returns.

Wasn't Marlon Brando's last movie "Scary Movie 2"? Now that he should have been ashamed of.

European Rusty is actually Blake Lively's older brother. Lively comes from an acting family, I believe her father and mother are both actors to (and her sister is Robyn Lively of "Teen Witch" fame)

"'She looked very much like Julie Bowen in a black wig and needled her husband as Claire would in a bad production of Virginia Wolfe"

The production codes as listed on epguides.com indicate that nothing was moved around as far as episode order. However, the order of the Halloween and the yard sale episode was switched, with the yard sale episode (which was produced first) airing on Oct. 31st and the Halloween episode airing on the 24th for some

I've always kind of thought that Woodrow sketch was really dumb, and assumed it was something Tracy had written or at least come up with the premise of. I'm kind of disappointed that Zach wrote it. If that's the kind of stuff he was going to be contributing to the show, maybe it's better that he did get fired.

I think Amy Phillips has been great on CBB every time she's appeared and I actually tweeted her to tell her so. I asked her if she planned to ever audition for SNL and she said she had already done so twice. I think with Kristen Wiig gone next season she could really step in and become a big star with her impressions.

"He helped me out when I was down on my luck"
"Oh, money problems?""No, Mai Luck, the Chinese ambassador" (points to him, shot of him waving)

The reason they wrote the blinking thing into the show is because it's something that Ty Burrell does in real life. Watch any interview with him and you will see him blinking like crazy. I guess the writers thought it would be funny to build an episode around it.

Doug has posted over at aspecialthing (and yes, it IS him) that he is the one who made these comments here.

I think you mean 1980, 1985, and 1994. The show started one of its golden eras in 1986 (Carvey, Hartman, Lovitz, etc.), and 1995 was the year Will Ferrell started on the show.

When people start their anti-SNL rant with "They've had all summer and this is all they managed to come up with?" I've learned to disregard anything they're saying, because they know nothing about the show and how it works.
