…throuple?!  I'm polyamorous, involved in poly discussions, and friends with lots of other poly folks, and I have NEVER heard this term.  I'm sure people are using it, somewhere, but not anywhere I've ever seen (until now).  Triad, on the other hand, gets used extensively (and quad for four people).
