If the AV Club has taught me anything, it is that if Ignatiy likes a thing, then I will probably also like that thing.

It would take very little to convince me that Playtime is one of the ten best films of all time. In fact, I'll probably start trying to convince others of that.

They know we won't be upset if they just cancel the movie, right?

While the first ten minutes might be all someone needs to identify mediocrity, I find myself completely unable to care about someone's opinion on a book or movie if they didn't actually finish it.

Even if you don't like the story, which I totally get, you've got to give the movie at least some credit for having personality. Like, there's no coming out of the theater without knowing that it was made by Guillermo del Toro. I'd rather have a messy film with heaps of personality and creativity than some bland,

I loved it too, because I'm a fan of movies that are creative and beautiful to look at.

I'd been hearing one of their songs on NKU radio, which I liked pretty well, but usually these side-projects just kind of fizzle out. This definitely sparked my interest though, will probably pick it up and hope for a long, rewarding career to go alongside The National.

Synthy sounds are the best because they're so different. Anything different is worth having, even if it's weird/distracting to some people.

That's actually what sold me on it; as soon as I heard a snippet of the music in the trailer I knew it had a little bit of Halloween-inspiration, and that's all I need to get my ass to the theater. I'd also say the same thing about The Guest, which is awesome.

Silent Hill 2. Because I'm a total wuss.

If we must talk about It Follows again can we just talk about how awesome the music is? Cause I won't really get sick of fawning over that main theme.

Like, this is a good-ass film, but I get it AV Club. We can talk about older, under-appreciated stuff now.

Definitely, plus the way it came in to view made it feel less cheap than, say, the jump-scare in the beach shed. In that one, it was the old "oh no a face popped into this opening!" thing we've seen a million times. The massive guy in the doorway comes from the back of the shot, out of the darkness, and it takes our

Can I ask where and what exact patch you're talking about? Cause I would kill to play my FFXII too.

I guess I just can't understand exactly what anything is hinting at in the Bowser's Secret Shame level?

It's only lonely in the fact that there aren't any other people around and he's by himself. I mean if you consider that lonely.

I always liked going into a sunken ghost ship, falling down an endless pit, and finding… a question mark.

I mean I guess it's a neat idea but is Yoko even sure if John was really that in to peace?

Now that you mention it, I also think that!

That shot, the title reveal of Unfriended, and the entire trailer for Dark Skies are the best comedies in the past few years
