There's a lot more than that wrong with it.
I am willing to agree with that. The Grey is great.
Lies. I'm pretty sure I'm one of maybe 500 people on here alone that could write an essay about why it's so bad.
I don't give a shit that he's a douchebag, I'm just pointing out how others feel. Tarantino's personality is fucking unbearable but I love his movies for the most part.
Because they don't really have a point in the movie. What exactly do they add whatsoever?
Kind of my point that if you're so completely outacted by another actor in the same movie and don't hold your own in scenes together, that's a legit criticism.
I mean I guess, but it's got an uphill climb at this point.
Oh goddammit.
*rips your body in half*
The French story and the Native American story. Done.
But Hurt Locker has fallen off the cultural zeitgeist pretty damn quick after it got backlash for not being realistic at all
I don't really mind his movies but he's a pretentious douchebag of a human being. Just ask Tom Hardy.
But my point is that it's not really going to be all that polarizing in say a year or two. Most people will just get pissed that it beat Fury Road (and Spotlight/Big Short to a lesser degree) for Best Picture. But whatever, the Academy hasn't gotten it right in 12 years.
FASSBENDER! Everyone else I'll agree though.
That's really not polarizing. There aren't THAT many people willing to argue it as a through and through masterpiece.
What
This is really not that polarizing, it's not Cloud Atlas or The Master. I like it myself but find there to be a lot of problems in it. AV Club gave it a B. It has above average ratings but not excellent everywhere.
I should have phrased that much better. There is clearly an emotional core, but it didn't feel well done unless Tom Hardy was involved.
