That's part of what infuriated me. The plot had really put them in this position where getting a mother who satisfied 8 seasons of build up was nigh impossible. Yet against all odds, they hit the jackpot in casting Milioti.

So how people are Alison and Donny going to kill this time?
I enjoyed this episode's first half thoroughly. Any figurative wandering the woods was justified from seeing Nikki find some peace with help from Mr. Wrench and the Wandering Jew. That was topped off by seeing Yuri personally come face to face(s) with the Wrath of a vengeful Yaweh.
PUTTING ON THE RIIIIITZ!
Maybe a twist about how the youthful looking Maverick is still getting looks from 20-something men invoking jealousy in Ice Man? Ends with a tearful reconciliation, "You'll always be my wing man."
Can it just be a romantic comedy about Maverick and Ice Man engaging in parental highjinks trying to plan their daughter's wedding?
The aspect of villain manipulation is a good contrast too. In the Cap movies, Hydra and Zemo are manipulating the situation behind the scenes. In WW, the big twist at the end is that there is no manipulation by the villain. Human beings behave this way regardless.
I'm a World War I buff, so that aspect of the movie and in particular the concept of human frailty as the underlying menace really hit a sweet spot for me.
I loved this movie.
Yep. Came for this one. Just watching clips years later, I'm a little disgusted. I thought it was gross but funny when I was younger but now that I'm older and more enlightened its really disturbing.
Betsy would have seen through this whole scheme by now.
It's set in 2010 so if Yuri was a teenager in 1988 he would be almost 40 at the time of the show. Its plausible.
"You're a shit cop, you know that?" - 1979 Lou Solverson's voice in my head every time Moe Dammik opens his mouth.
I think this season has been quite good. It only lands a little softer because I adored season 2 with a passion.
Loved this episode for the awkward follow up relationships. How common is the "I liked your old girlfriend better" Thanksgiving experience? This one was especially well played.
How about "The Summer Wind Came Blowing In?"
Those cabbies were funny as hell. Loved the lone older guy trying to get in the club. Keep trying old man!
Actually I think the Alt-Right is just an attempt to cloak middle aged white racism as a hip youth movement.
I think that's a great point. Remember that the Clinton email scandal was less potent in the material that was released online (which was basically a nothing burger) than how FOX covered that material.
Hey Uncle Carl. Did you drive to the library or take the bus this time?
