While the film did a terrific job of showing Amy as cunning and ruthless it also showed a critical weakness in her hubris. She is so totally convinced of her ability to manipulate events, in particular the men in her life, that she takes dangerous risks that don't pan out.
If you ever wanted to know what human form Dalek would be, I present the internet troll.
The show did a great job of replicating the feel of the original trilogy. While the animation is obviously shoddier than Clone Wars, the animators did a great job creating a world that seems like its been cobbled together from spare parts. That particular odor is what I found most entertaining.
Its not enough to cry at a particular movie. For example as much as I got emotional over Up, so did everyone in the theater.
Another Pixar tear jerker, Ratatouille.
I noticed that the broadcast version of this show had been cut in a few places from what debuted online.
Big talk from Mr. "I'm my own grandpa!"
Throw a pie for God's sake!
The leads work really nice which forms a good core. The characters orbiting them are so far two dimensional and uninteresting but the good news is that can change. If the show doesn't adapt it could be painful to watch two good performers wasted but it could be pleasant if it manages to sort out those issues.
I've been approaching Twelve's particular bossy, prickly, and defensive nature as him being an adolescent. His stubborn inability to wrap his head around an ex-soldier being a maths teacher and his excited reaction to Danny calling him "Sir" are signs of immaturity. Twelve is what you'd expect if you gave a 19 year…
Funniest bit of show came at the very end and its Jerry Jones' eyes moving independently of each other like a chameleon.
Nice rant. You make a very valid case, especially for authors and artists.
Full disclosure. I needed to see the Director's wikipedia just to make sure that hadn't already happened.
Well the first thing you need to do is drop the class and find one that is taught in classroom and not in a van.
Between this and the Atlas Shrugged reviews, its been a rough week for the right wing lunatic fringe film association.
It makes his behavior even worse. What was he going to do if she did hear him?
I thought the coitus line was a ruse to test whether she could hear their conversation.
I have a theory that Twelve's bristly and culturally disconnected personality is due to the new regeneration cycle he received in the Time of the Doctor. I'm basing this on the special short when the Tenth encounters the Fifth. David Tennant delivers a great goodbye to his younger self saying,
Good question. I think the answer is multi-faceted:
