i much prefer the more subdued, grounded humor of bob's burgers, but certainly don't dislike the big, loud crazy stuff… but this was way too much LOUD crazy stuff for me. i didn't hate it - i have yet to actively dislike an episode of the show - but it was one of the weakest of the series for me.

BOOOOOO… urns?

BOOOOOO… urns?

Apparently it's called "Beforal Orel". According to the press release: "A Moral Orel special that sheds light on the origin of Orel’s religious nature and the birth of his brother, Shapey."

Looney Tunes: BIA was mangled the fuck up by the studio, correct? I think I've read in an interview or two that Dante ended up hating working on the picture - tons or re-writes, re-shoots, finished animation tossed out, etc.

agreed - this was one of the better episodes from season 2. tina's my favorite of the belcher kids & it was good fun to see her lame attempts at rebellion.

we'll at least have the rest of the episodes fox ordered (the day after allen gregory's pilot flopped) airing sometime during the 2012-13 season. beyond that, who knows? seriously, i'm asking "who knows?" cause i'd sure like to find out…

my jaw dropped & i started to let out a "what the -" but i ended up yelling out "I FUCKING HATE CGI BLOOD!!". seriously, has it become cheaper to CGI in blood in post than to buy a couple gallons of fake blood for your movie? it doesn't look right & its presence always takes me out of a film.

wait, i thought the hipster thing to do nowadays was dismiss everything wes anderson does as being too hipster-y. is he back in style? i can't keep up with these damn youths!

^^ Every internet message board comment about a Wes Anderson trailer since "The Life Aquatic".

yep, while this one was definitely not bad, bob's burgers has been reaching much higher highs this season (though bob talking to the dental instruments & "kiss your sister" were really wonderful moments).

"Have You Seen This Chicken?"
The Wrong Trousers is my #1 pick. Also: When the hell are we going to get another W&G short?

Seeing the guy who plays Ryan Shay in things other than Suburgatory reminds me of how funny Ryan Shay is.

come on, it wasn't great, but surely it isn't worse than that superhero cream episode or "bender's game". come to think of it, that christmas anthology episode was really lousy, too…

i dunno - the story about the militant athiest hippie girl who read the book of matthew & became a christian because "god talked to her" while she was stoned & drunk at a party was NEARLY on that level. "i used to think that the bible was, like, salad - but it's TOTALLY cigarettes & chocolate, maaaan!"
(also: everyone

"At the end of the day, though, I felt like "Blue Like Jazz"'s insights into modern religious life aren't 't particularly insightful and the inspiring moments not particularly inspiring."

harvey danger has a consistently good-to-great catalog beyond "flagpole sitta". "king james version", especially, is a fantastic album.

i was about to agree, but then i remembered rabin's glowing reviews of the extremely lousy sixth season of "the office".

Well, at least Jet will live on as the band ad executives use when they can't afford to license an AC/DC song for their new crappy beer commercial.
