Douche Chill…

You mean: "Surprisingly few explosions."

@avclub-22eda830d1051274a2581d6466c06e6c:disqus Oh you're going to hell for that one.

@avclub-21b39f6bb24a7facdbb5e4eafe45cad3:disqus Get out of here with that shit, brah!

I was into Lucas before Star Wars.

What do you expect in a trailer?

I'm pretty sure Star Trek has never done time travel before. They could try that.

Can we please avoid Trekkie backlash until we've actually had a chance to see the movie?

No one is Krieger. There can be only one.

He has had sex with Joan before, if I remember correctly.

Just jackin' it.

Goddammit I love Don and Joan together. I don't mean romantically, obviously.

I think it would be great if it were actually Cyril's. Again.

This is… just way too sudden. Goddammit I love his writing and his criticism. You can tell he loves his job and REALLY loves film. I don't think I can deal with the thought that I'll never read something new from him again, not right now.

I thought the paralleled sequences made a lot of artistic sense, personally. More to the point, though, there really is a lot more to directing than camera shot sequencing. As Mike said himself, Redford got some great performances out of the actors here, and the mise en scene was put together very very well.

Whatever my equivalent of sploosh. Which I guess is just sploosh. Only with semen.

Phrasing!

…. also yes.

Duh, and/or, Hola!

Goddammit, you just reminded me how much I miss The West Wing. Or at least when Rob Lowe was still on the show.
