The (co-)writer of this episode, Don Payne, died a few months earlier from bone cancer. Thanks for the laughs, Don.

Those plants gave me the biggest Crab People vibe…

Whenever I see Cartman can still manipulate entire groups of people into his will or paranoia, I actually take a sigh of relief in knowing that aspect of his character won't go away. It really helps to emphasize how much of a twisted villain he is.

I always wondered what Bob's Burgers would be like with really serious antagonists. But then I just decided the show would be better off without.

They were never shown physically aging, but the fact that the years kept moving within the series indicates the writers were just keeping everything under the radar.

To be fair, the 'treehouse' aspect hasn't been essential since 1990.

"I wish I was Death again. That was cool."

There's nothing about this exchange I didn't like.

That live-action tracking shot had "Mecha-Streisand" written all over it, and the photo of Obama brought me back to the "FRUITS ARE FUN!" poster from season three (or four?). I must've had the stupidest grin on my face when I saw those.

Pretty disappointed that they still have yet to change the actual theme, and just went with updating the opening sequence (which WAS jizz-worthy, I'll admit that) again.

I think an easier question would be, "how many deaths have they been responsible for?"

The humans shall not defeat us!

*everyone laughs, episode ends*

I can just imagine Paul Winchell's voice coming out of Bender's mouth now.

Oh, yeah, I've been meaning to watch those…

You think so?

"Stolen Pez, anyone?"

I like the sound of that!

"Futurama": As seen at the 1939 World's Fair!

Now I feel even worse…
