Also some cribbing from House of Leaves in there. This is probably as close as we'll get to a filmed version of that novel.

Um… how is this review up?
I thought that was part of the joke.
Oh, come on! The "O Fortuna" scene makes this a B at least! Also, Rosa in a cat suit.
Great post. Tommy Darmody would be either 13 or 14 in 1931, depending on the time of year. Let Joe's resemblance to Jimmy be a symbol of a reminder to Nucky.
Not a word from anyone about Anna Camp? I thought she was great.
I feel like this is the ultimate version of the Emperor's new clothes. What am I missing here?
I've spent time in no less than 4 NYC hospitals, and I don't think I've ever seen a white nurse. They are overwhelmingly latino/a and black caribbean islander.

OK, so this episode wasn't "Real Time," but I still giggled like an idiot.
My dislike of Lena Dunham has nothing to do with her being a woman or overweight or a feminist. It has to do with her startling lack of self-awareness.
Is there any chance at this point that Maggie's father isn't the one who abused the daughter?
I have made like, three comments on this site ever. I do not understand this grade. The scene with the old woman made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Just great stuff.
They didn't. Mel goes after another of Robert's bastards — Edric Storm.
As far as I know, the Spotted Pig serves burgers all day. Gramercy Terrace is on the roof of the Gramercy Park Hotel.
Gramercy Terrace is a really, really tiny place on the roof of the Gramercy Park Hotel. They don't serve dinner. I am thinking that the kitchen isn't exactly set up to be a full-service kitchen.
Obligatory NYC burger list:
It was charming how even after he had the banana on the burger, he had to look down at the photo of the girls to get the last little bit of motivation to eat the thing. Ron's a good dude.
YARD MARGS!
Yeah, it's a bit of a reach, but if it's true it means that these guys are DOING WORK capturing the spirit of the books while adapting it for the screen. (Also, that they are magnitudes smarter than whatever manatees are running The Walking Dead at this point.)
