You have to agree that Hudson is showing a bit of desparation too. I mean she made a movie with Jason Biggs and fucking DANE COOK.

BOY I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE HOW THIS TURNS OUT.

Another song I liked was 'Level'. Remember that? The one with the long guitar solo in the middle….

I don't begrudge Cage from wanting to play an action-hero type and his first 2 collaborations with Bruckheimer were pretty good but then became a disturbing trend. The ratio of commercial crap in his resume started increasing to the point of excess. Now we find out that he was blowing his money on cars and castles and

Still love the dude to death. Would love if he would sometimes be a little less opaque.

I guess what happened to Cage is even more tragic. Watching his first few films on TV when I was in my early teens, I became a HUGE Cage buff. Ballsy,heart-on-a-sleeve,no-holds barred performances like Moonstruck,Vampires Kiss ,Leaving las vegas and Wild at Heart had me CONVINCED that we finally had a heir to Brando's

It's funny that people are making it out as a big TDKR vs. Avengers competition, whearas we al know that BOTH of them are going to make massive,fuck-tons of money. In fact, in six months Chris Nolan and Joss Whedon will be at the executive section of a posh Gentlemen's club doing shots and snorting blow off a Hooker's

Kate Hudson has become the female Nicolas Cage:  Once showing great promise but now old, past the prime, critically lambasted and willing to appear in any movie ,no matter how crappy just to pay the bills.

Joe Strummer, who is my all-time Rock n'Roll hero used to do something like this back in the day (with no internet of course) via press and newspapers. I guess it comes with part of a certain 'persona' one acquires.

I guess you're right. It's nice to know that your Rock Stars are eloquent wordsmiths and probably read books and shit instead of snorting coke off a hooker's crack all day.

I'm not sure exactly HOW he didn't become a big name. He became an instant celebrity during 'Slumdog' and was on tabloids and TV shows across the globe. Perhaps his decision to star in M.Night Shyamalamananaman's infamous "Airbender" had something to do with it.

Cut the guy some slack, he's still got that Bruckheimer 'Lone Ranger' movie to score.

Typically frustrating Jack White interview. He speaks as if he's trying to impress himself all the time. I'm sure he's a smart guy but for fuck's sake, give us some straight answers instead of "Relationships of any kind are powerful, and they always influence an artist. It’s inescapable".

I don't know, was it in 2007 or something when they released 'Consolers of the lonely'??. Pretty average album except for 'Top Yourself' which I played in my head over and over again.  White's output had been decreasing in quality recently, maybe beacause he just works SO much.

All thing considered, it's white's best work in at leaast 4-5 years. That's always worth celebrating.

I'VE HAD IT WITH THESE MOTHERFUCKING CHITAURI ON MY MOTHERFUCKING HELLCARRIER!!

In that case, how about Nic Cage as Batman?? I think it's a swell idea and since Cage never refuses any role, he might be up to it.

ENOUGH is ENOUGH!! I've had it with this MOTHERFUCKING BANE in the MOTHERFUCKING PLANE!!

Gibson better be careful: He is FAST approaching Kinski levels!

This looks like they cut/pasted Mark Wahlberg in a late period Adam Sandler movie, dosen't it??
