@Scrawler I'm willing to bet that those girls are equally (if not more) pissed at the director for being complicit in this. I mean, she didn't just go kiss some other cute(r) boy. She got it on with a guy twice her age in some sort of sick Daddy-issue tableau reminiscent of a direct-to-video movie from the 90's.

@Scrawler I saw this movie and imo it was more like LOTR lite. They did almost everything they could to this property to appeal to boys, not girls. Sorry, but I just don't buy that they're afraid of the Pattinson admirers. For one thing, aren't those girls equally (if not more) pissed at the director for breaking

I like how in order for this theory to work we have to suddenly believe that Hollywood gives two shits about teenage girls. Regardless, NO ONE cares about this director, so at the very least, they should fire both of them just to avoid any backlash.
