That's a good point, I gotta say. It really needed more time so the cast could better interact.

"I'd hug you sweetie but if I touch you again your head will explode" was my line of the night. This really did work better.

Did no-one else love Simpsorama as much as me?

Yeah, I was confused as to what age they were supposed to be the whole episode.

Yeah, I've lost interest in most of this site's reviews (or they stopped reviewing things I frequented like American Dad) and I'm mostly here for Fox Sunday and Doctor Who now.

Hi

Oh, I didnt hate Bordertown at all. I was hoping it would do the typical Seth Mcfarlane formula of have a shitty first season trying to ape Family Guy and have political humour, only to abandon it entirely in the second season and just be high concept gags and funny characters and completely shit on what FG has become

I thought it was ok, but not much more than that. Got better as time went on though.

The problem is that the biggest issue with modern simpsons is that it's less definitively good or bad now but is just super polarising. You may find the absolute best of the bunch, but there's a lot where half the viewers loved it and half hated it, since at this point everybody expects different things from the show

Yeah, that is likely true. I dont really expect it, again, using Last Man as an example. Still, that show constantly pushes the envelope, so who knows? The show would need to get the chance to though. I hope it doesnt get good then get cancelled.

Much better than the shows the lovely people at /co/ called Pooper Barret, and Borderlined Cancelled.

TV is so good right now that it's odd you'd choose this as the only show. And that's coming from someone who actually loves it

I heard of that, but I dont know the episode.

Your critisisms are interesting as it reminds me of the new, growing genre of "super high concept premise is used purely as a backdrop to tell normal stories"

You mean the ending? I suppose that counts, but I didnt even think about taking it seriously since he also talks to the audience, Looney Toons style.

She didnt actually die, obviously.

Or maybe the viewers do.

I knew exactly what you would have been linking. And a show moment so bad that it does that sort of thing makes me laugh. It's like seeing Doctor Who fans talk about Kill the Moon.

I'm surprised to have seen more than one episode end with random dancing

I havent even finished it because it was like 10 plots in five minutes. It's one of the only episodes I havent finished.
