This article at least had the decency to not inject thier apathy of the show all over what it was reporting. It's odd to complain about the show getting stale while talking about it in the most stale way possible.

By being more consistent. When the random humour works well, it works VERY well. So it just needs to have it's highs more often. Shows settle into grooves in the middle of their first season/early second season, so I'm curious about how that will go.

If they lost all the political humour and went on surreal stuff alone the show would actually be hilarious. I almost hope it lasts long enough to drop all that stuff in Season 2 like American Dad.

Like I said in my comment, they were real humans with flaws. Good personality traits and bad. All that bad stuff she did wasnt treated like a good thing, but she could still code and helped Lisa feel more comfortable about herself in the class.

I'll just say that the insistence that only white males didnt like her is a wierd one to me.

I'll never understand people saying 1 year is too long for a parody when an episode takes 1 year minus two months.

I loved that joke. And it's just a joke about how newer shows get help from holdover ratings. It's a reason why BB does better after shows rather than before everything at 7:30. The Cleveland Show punchline helped.

Once a plot goes wacky everyone remembers the scully era, then jerkass homer, then the principal and the pauper, then saddlesore galactica, in that order.

The slapstick after Homer said "That's why I try not to be funny" was the best joke of the night.

This one was hilarious. It felt to be going at a very quick pace with 90% of the jokes working for me.
