This season of The SImpsons and this season of Family Guy isnt the best seasons to use to say FG is funny and TS is not, really.

Why people reserve these comments for actually great episodes, I'll never know.

I do hear they brought the series back down to earth after the wacky teens, and that the show got it's heart back.

I do think the Simpsons you grew up with is always your favourite as well. I only started around season 20, so when I went back to the past episodes I never felt much greater affection to them.

I missed most of the teen season episodes, myself.

I mean, they killed Brian for 3 episodes so Ratings are definitely on thier mind. Sadly, it works.
