I like Home Improvement. I have never watched any of those other shows though, and I guess that's probably a good thing.

90's Nick, 90's multi camera sitcoms compared to the ones now, all the people who "dont watch tv anymore because it's all dumb," there's 90's CN vs now, where even Adventure Time is seen as hipster tumblr trash compared to older shows (full discloser, I dont like adventure time, but it's pretty much dismissed by…
There is literally a term for people in love with the 90's. 90's Kids. I dislike that term a lot.
Eh, if you think my comment is lazy just because you dont agree with it, I'm not really gonna care. But this is a conclusion I have come to from a lot of thought and observation.
Now this is just crazy. Half the fanbase complains that homer used to be funny and is now emotional, the other half complain that he used to be emotional and is now funny.
It doesn't help that the internet has immortalized the 90's as a perfect decade of television. Practically everything in the 90's on TV is considered superior to everything that comes after it.
I agree. I think it's most noticeable in the response to doing something relevant.
I personally don't see the "characters are ruined now" thing either.
Because I don't have fond childhood memories of the show? I agree.
It might be because I'm not watching things as comparing entire seasons, but just individual sets of episodes. I can't say "it went downhill by season x" because I haven't watched a long enough continuous stretch of episodes.
I was pretty proud of that part.
I must be. I even watched Marge vs the Monorail expecting to be blown away, but just enjoyed it as much as any other episode I've seen. Maybe I just had to be there. I still believe nostalgia is a big reason for everyone's opinion on old vs new.
I'm just glad the marathon has made many older fans rethink their opinion on newer seasons. Even Todd Vanderwerff wrote a Vox article about realising the show holds up better than people give it credit. Warms my heart it does.
Watching the Simpsons marathon has made me see many older episodes for the first time. I am now completely convinced that the hate for new seasons is totally overblown. The show was pretty much the same, except with more fluid animation and less visual gags. 25 years of nostalgia has really done a number on the…
I know what you're talking about and I think that in a world that wants to show that everyone is equal, I cant fathom people defending using sex to get ahead
Every week feels like the season finale
List:
Going into a h̶a̶t̶c̶h̶ door, getting hit by b̶l̶a̶c̶k̶ white smoke, and having f̶l̶a̶s̶h̶b̶a̶c̶k̶s̶ flashbacks.
That moment struck out to me too lol. Especially since she was so apathetic to work a few days ago
"Chester's Mill is awful."
