I feel the same way about the Buffy comics. I love all those characters, and I want to spend more time with them, but those are not the characters I love.

When I first watched the show, I initially thought that Kaylee was way younger than she was supposed to be. My impression was a girl in her late teens, which made her romance with mid/late-twenties Simon kind of weird for me.

Somebody mentioned the Chicken Fingers episode. My favorite homage/parody bits in Community are the blink-and-you-miss-em moments, many of which a large portion of the audience probably doesn't even catch on the first viewing.
