I love that in reality this Newswire exists more so we can talk about the album before the review now that it leaked.

I agree the second half is not as strong, but I felt "Blood On The Leaves" and "Send It Up" were great and almost the same level as the first five.

I need to listen to it a couple more times, but it might actually be my second favorite of his, with MBDTF in first still. It doesn't have as many highs as his four first albums, but it's also much more consistent than they were and the more concise tracklist helps it to keep momentum and impact throughout. But even

I'm buying this anyway, so I don't see a reason to skip the leaks.

That's Major Lazer? Damn, Diplo really stepped up his game for that track. It's the best thing he has done since "Climax" (I realize that song was just last year, but he does so many tracks it feels like a long time ago already).

Where is Frank Ocean on "New Slaves"?

I'm only on track 5, but I already disagree, because not only is this album gloriously weird, but I like actually really loved "Hold My Liquor".

I have only watched Wall-E, Up and Toy Story 3 in theaters.

We found boobs in a hopeless place!

I like the way D'Angelo woks it, no diggity!

THE AV CLUB
Tits have caused me to make all of the bad decisions in my life.

Would you call it a Rihannarise?

You wanna see an asshole, go to Kanye's house.

Come on baby, George, drop the towel!

I hate to admit, but one of the things that crossed my mind when I watched The War Room, was when I saw him and thought "Oh, so that's the guy the chicks from Friends perved on!"

You dated Abu Nazir?

TUSK!

There's no such thing about cultural consensus or impartial view on filmmaking craftsmanship, right? It's not like even Hitchcock detractors can name scenes they think have their aesthetic value, or people who disagree with Eisentein's point of view but won't deny his contributions to the medium, right?

There are definitely filmmakers that even if you don't like them much or you don't identify with their point of view and/or aesthetic, that you can find value and purpose on their choices. Malick is one of the few that about the same amount of people that call him genius and a hack with the same intensity.

I knew american reviewers would do this! Once the film was poorly received in Cannes, I was sure it was bound to get critics who hadn't seen the film to like it more based on expectations. Also, because it sounds very american critic-bait, like all of Sofia's films (even the good ones). I don't know if I'll like it,
