It was everything! Everything! That I wanteeeeeeed…

Making fun of the Fast & Furious films? BUT THEY ARE MASTERPIECES!

This needs to be a gimmick!

He really holds a grudge of their past in that show, doesn't he?

There are films that are booed because they are so divisive that get passionate responses of both love and hate. And there are films that are booed simply because they are terrible.

Yeah, thing is, a lot of people (including me) thought Lost started to lose itself once it just did whatever the audience asked.

Let's be honest here, it's a jury with Spielberg as president, and Ang Lee as one of the voters. it will be Farhadi or Kore-Eda, unless they disappoint (in the former's case, it seems unlikely with the early raves it has).

I agree, but I think it's very much supposed to feel sudden. It does feel like a considerable amount of the time has passed between episodes, and tat while it is a big surprise it happens, it's not so inconceivable to the characters in the show. I think the old issue of saying he hear more about the chemistry the two

That's got to be the least erotic an erotic fanfiction ever was.

It's getting some truly great reviews from french critics who have already seen it. It might even be an early favorite to win the whole thing.

It also helps that if you're gonna shoehorn and a love declaration over the phone, that is the perfect way to do it. Everything Max said was so sweet and pretty and charming, that along with the daisies and Lauren's Graham reaction, it just becomes such a tender and sincere moment with so much emotion. Best Max moment

Alain Delon shaking his booty to the camera like Emma Watson!

I quite liked Swimming Pool, and I'm not really a fan of his. That was the last one I remember really liking though.

I agree about Marie Antoinette. Could never get the estimation for Lost In Translation beyond Bill Murray. And Somewhere is just a mess. So, hum, I actually agree with everything you said.

Yeah, i forgot about Savides too. I love the man, but come on, this had disappointment written all over it, and it's very unlikely it's his fault (considering the good-to-great mentions for the camerawork on reviews), but it's apparently all Sofia's.

Also, some of the reviews I've seen for Heli (including this one) makes it sound like misery porn. I haven't seen any Escalante films yet, but it doesn't sound like something I'll go for.

Pretty much expected Bling Ring to be underwhelming. I just had the feeling that Sofia might be starting to really lose her grip as a director.

But nobody has said anything bad about Steven Soderbergh.

I know, but it's still so fucking ridiculous not to give The Master the win because it was your favorite, and even more ridiculous that among all the films in competition, it was this one they went with to replace it.
