How this wasn't a bulletpoint quote, I have no idea. Also the fact that they used Daisy's superhero name after Fitz & Simmons came back through the portal.

Fitz jumping into the portal is in line with his character development from last season though. He became incredibly unstable emotionally after the end of season 1, to the point where he was hallucinating a Simmons that was hanging around him 24/7.
The screwdriver really did become such a crutch on the show, especially with the 11th doctor. If nothing else, this change means the sonic *device* will be used far less than it used to. The fact that it was only used once last episode, and then to only transmit a video feed, was fantastic. I'd rather have witty…
I want to marry this comment.

Same here. It's also not really a platform for deep, meaningful content. More quips, jokes, and immediate reactions to events. Thus, most of my twitter friends are all sports/comedy related.
Does that mean I can cancel the drive to mail AV Club a bunch of fishsticks & custard?
I figured out which was a child molester using this one simple trick!
Same here. I try to bug their twitter from time to time, but they seemed to have abandoned us.
Ah, yeah, I remember that now. I took it as him trying to disarm them with his words at the time (Rule #1, of course), but I'd buy that as a reference. Either way, when Capaldi leaves, they'll touch on it directly I'm sure.
What did he say in Kill the Moon? I don't recall anything like that, but if they gave the number of regenerations a hand wave, maybe all the diehards keeping track on their fingers and toes can calm down now.
Saw somewhere else in the comments that it was the fact that the Dalek granting mercy more than just using the word that caught his attention. I find that to be an acceptable form of reasoning.

He's a dick in a box!
Just like River. Yet another woman riding the coattails of a character made for a man.
Tom Hardy needs to be the next Picard.
Also, the less we discuss The Name of the Doctor, the better.
That about sums it up.
Yeah, and why do they always bring back the Daleks? and the Cybermen? And the Tardis? I mean, talk about using the same old tropes!
