Let me know when they re-release Chip's Challenge. Now THAT will be worth an AV Club article.

Ouch.

Oh please, we all know he was looking at the Dean.

You're spot on. Everyone is just kind of…meandering this season. They all had goals before, but now everyone is here just because they've got nothing else going on in life right now so why not.

I don't have an issue rewatching season 4 when I'm doing my marathons. Like you said, they're okay. And they have some decent parts as well. I said elsewhere I like the shift they had with Pierce, becoming a little less psycho and a little more like a father figure for Jeff. The bonding moments at the barbershop

But season 4 was 13 episodes…

Please, call me tsudbury.

That's good to know, at least. I'll go back through them and binge watch once the season is over. So far, the only one I've watched a second time was Crisis Room, just so I could watch Chang say "ps, I hope BRENDA is doing BETTER??!!"

You know, one of the only things I liked about season 4 was that they turned Pierce into a bit more of a father figure — a kind of warning to Jeff of what he could become. I'll give you that episode, especially since we get to hear "Damn! I wish Abed was Batman"

This was one of the lower ones of the season for me as well. It was *okay* but the last 3 were far superior to me. This was comparable to the first couple eps of the season, except the show isn't trying to find itself for the year anymore. Still better than anything in the gas leak though.

No, we don't! This will go perfectly with the other shed sex scenes we got from the original!

They filmed new episodes? Oh man, we gotta get a hold of that tape!

I was the opposite… I loved the pilot — gave me a good feel for the pacing of the humor. Then it jumped back down and has been ramping up since then. I'll avoid spoilers, but I'm glad everyone is getting their time to shine as an actual part of the crew, instead of just being background extras.

I've been trying to pace myself on it, and it's not working. I still have 3 episodes left to watch. It'll be a miracle if I make it to monday without finishing.

If you love Milana Vayntrub, you have to check out her old YouTube show "Let's Talk About Something More Interesting." That show used to have me cracking up for the same reasons that makes her so good on Other Space. Also, I think I'm more in love with her than Stewart is.

***SPOILERS*** Get out of my brain, man. I agree with pretty much everything you said (except I found Walt's explanation in the DVD extras more than satisfactory). I think the main problem with everyone hating the final season is that they called it a "Flash-sideways," which led people to think that they were dead

I don't think you ignore plot holes, so much as you can catch all the little hints they toss at you that fills them up.

When I first watched season 6, I thought it ranged from "just okay" to "kinda good." When I rewatched the series from beginning to end in a marathon, season 6 became incredible. Similar to Arrested Development, a lot got…lost… when having to wait from week to week. Getting to watch them all at once made the story

Every time I rewatch Lost (I'll marathon all 6 seasons every year or two), My loathing for Jack and love for Sawyer increases exponentially.

One thing I would love to track is the Scott/Steve references. It's a running gag through season 3, but I can never remember which one was supposedly dead the time before last.
