I can't wait to see Todd VanDerWerff's reaction to this episode, knowing his love for all things involving the melancholy depressingness of the holidays.

There is NOTHING WRONG with tuckin'. Unless it's a t-shirt. Which I did when I was 15-18. Oh, what a fool I was…

Wait, there are people HERE TOO that think Skylar is an ungrateful bitch and that Walt is in the right (Or at least that Skylar is just as bad)? I expected that kind of shit from Twitter (And it's there in spades), but not from here. Well, maybe from ZMF.

If this means we get an award-winning performance in some crazy European director's movie feature some nudity eightish years from now, I'm cool with a Dunst-ification.

I had to abort on this video after about a minute.

Nope!

Nope!

Yeah, it's a very emotional movie, and it has plenty of sad moments, but as a whole it's oddly thematically uplifting. And it's just so well-made and has so much passion behind it that you definitely shouldn't be sad afterward.

Funnily enough, at my church someone did a reading of a section of "One Hundred Years of Solitude" (It's a UU church and was a lay-led service), and listening to it I immediately thought back to this movie. So you might be onto something.

I saw it at an advance screening in Chicago a couple weeks ago where Zeitlin, Wallis and Henry all showed up for a Q&A to my surprise. The movie itself was still probably the highlight of the evening. Wallis and Henry are just shockingly phenomenal (Happy to hear Henry already doing such a great follow-up project!),
