Bring…back…Sheriff Lobo!
Bring…back…Sheriff Lobo!
I think the Facebook friend was at the end of season 2. Though honestly I've always liked Skyler, and since about "Down" I've been on her side (the argument they have where he refuses to fess up, followed by the ending of her smoking in the car, still stays with me). I was blissfully ignorant of the intense hatred for…
About a week ago a Facebook friend made a status update about starting to watch Breaking Bad, how much he loved it and how much he enjoyed the black humor of the show. I very nearly liked it before finishing the status, which ended with "oh, and Walt's wife is a real bitch." I aborted attempted like almost immediately.
Arrested Development also did it in the Save Our Bluths. Dunno if that was before/after Scrubs though.
For a period of time this was my single favorite Simpsons joke of all time. It's still up there.
Well I love the hell out of this.
One week too soon!
What's incredible, and in hindsight great, is that it's the mundane ratings that allowed this to not outstay its welcome. If this show had ratings nearly as strong as this right out the gate, AMC would've never let it die, until it was in season 9 and 2.8 million people tuned in to see nah I was going to make a…
According to Hollywood Reporter, 500,000 people downloaded the finale in the first 12 hours it was available. But that's a worldwide number (18% of downloads came from Australia!), so it's skewed a little: http://www.hollywoodreporte…
An HBO program, available on Netflix? HA!
I'm a little surprised that it's continuing, since the ratings haven't been that great, the show's Emmy love has been dwindling (Cannavale surprise win be damned) and the show is hella expensive to produce. Though I guess with True Blood leaving they can't have all their dramas ending at once.
I actually felt let down when he missed the cantaloupe.
As with everything Ayn Rand/Atlas Shrugged-related…fuck this shit.
Robbing us of the potential "Talking Shit," or "Talking Duck." Darn.
Sony Classics is usually good about this, though not many other distributors are.
This could be an issue, but I do like how Braugher still managed to undercut him nearly every time he got snotty at him - the robot sounds, "manscaping," calling everyone in to see Andy in his speedo. If they keep that up I can put up with almost any amount of snottiness from him, i think (and hopefully he'll mellow…
As a kid who saw Fly Away Home and While You Were Sleeping many, many times, I too use to confuse Pullman and Daniels ALL THE TIME.
"Inside Llewyn Davis went home from its Cannes premiere with no awards,"
This is the kind of plot that 5-6 seasons later probably would've rendered a nearly unbearable episodes, but with the writers at the top of their game it's pretty much a classic. The moment of the town singing "Que Sera Sera" should be too sappy to work, but it really does.
