James Garner is super cool so I guess it's worth a watch because it was one of his last prominent roles.

I found his presence in American Gangster to be more distracting than Russel Crowe's Joe Piscopo NY accent. Especially since you could clearly see an anachronistic Wu-Tang tattoo on his arm in every scene.
