I only get up there twice a year or so, but, if it's any consolation, your theory about double-posting may indeed be correct.

DCD can come back IFF the drummer loses that stupid Male Topknot hairdo that was all the rage for about two weeks back in the 90's.
Ol' PJ started to wobble pretty seriously towards the end, quality-wise — Eat The Rich is one of the best things he's ever done, while CEO Of The Sofa is absolute crap. GWAC would've been better if it was just war reporting, and not a mashup of *all* of his articles for the past months.
Despite the incredulous horror felt by all right-thinking people at the very idea of Children In Pubs, i'd have to agree. Any establishment with a big pile of games at the bar gets my vote, even if the throwing lines are about 4" too close to the dartboards.
OK, "aged well" wasn't quite the way to put it… I was just surprised at how constantly repetitive C&H was upon re-reading. Admittedly, I'll never get tired of mutant snowman tableaux, but reaching my limit of Calvin as utterly selfish, unfiltered Id is rapidly achieved, whereas I can read big chunks of Breathed…
So it's mostly set in the Black Sheep and Standing Stone? I am *so* there.
I've just re-read most of Calvin & Hobbes, and it doesn't seem to have aged quite as well (despite being much less era-based) thanks to its repetitiveness. "Calvin == Id" gets old surprisingly quickly, in retrospect. IMHO.
Well, it's not good *Boston*, but it's decent 70's overproduced guitar-rock, if that helps. If you liked the first one, you probably won't hate the second.
I am not now, nor have i ever been, 'harryfrodo'. (Just a fan of O'Reilly technical books.)
No reason to chose - you can have both of those things. It's one of your rights as an American.
"everyday" = adjective, "every day" = noun phrase. Don't fuck up the Pilgrim hate with drooling tardgrammar.
Tell your dates to fuck off, and take your final exams. Seriously. You'll always be able to get more dates.
Sorry, you don't spell well enough to pull off a Pynchon reference in your username. Please try again.
Apple was working on a font system where you could apply random variations to letters, before they got bought by NeXT. That would've been fun.
I wonder if "a passing cynic" has been taken as a username yet.
The David Icke that used to write for Football365? He got even crazier? I kind of miss him.
Damn, no mbs here either. Getting a little worried, here. Has anyone seen mbs!?
Or the 6,000,000 Man.
If by "incredible" you mean like Barbra Streisand with a couple of rugby balls stuffed into her yoga top.
Will keep an eye out, EK, thanks. Our import situation has gotten a *little* better recently (Wychwood, St. Peters) but it's still mostly the usual Youngs, Fullers, and Sammy Smith.
