Great artist.  I drop whatever I'm doing when he comes to town.

The Return
of evil Boyd is something I very much look forward too. He was the best part of season 1.

I would describe this past year…
As an orgy of television for me. Community, Mad Men, Deadwood, Breaking Bad, and Rome.

@tanooki- I assume he holds up his pinky to middle finger to avoid being identified as a Dale Earndhardt fan. They are from North Carolina after all. And when they're on stage I think the more frenetic the performance, the better. I mean the cello player is a head banger, how awesome is that?

Out of nowhere. I did not expect the Avetts to make an appearance in this series. Good pick.

I've seen them twice in a smaller venue, and they rocked it both times. They make the ladies crazy.

What would constitute a hard-core technology degree? Just Curious.

Shows you kick yourself for missing
Danzig on Halloween, Neil Young in a symphony center, Ghostland Observatory at a Texas Hill country riverside campground, Drive by Truckers (This one I can fix).

The Old 97's opening a show with Great Barrier Reef is the perfect first set in my book. Also, first band that I had get some earplugs for.

First show I saw was Willie Nelson and Pat Green in downtown Waco. All that came through there was Texas Country so I covered my bases in that genre. My first real rock show was probably The Dandy Warhols after college. I wore boots. You better believe I stuck out in that crowd.

Seeing JTE tonight, his last show sold out and I have been waiting for him to come to town for a year. Can't wait.

Gogel Bordello, The Hold Steady, The Black Keys, and Joe Ely. Ely qualifies for social security, but that guy is a professional at what he does.

They're coming back to Dallas in 2 weeks (sold out again) and tickets are selling for $120 at the cheapest. Not worth it.
