Right? It's terrifying how vulnerable we are through memory and the assumption of a shared experience. This show is like the Exorcist had a baby with Memento. It also really gives me empathy for the mentally ill, because it shows us how jarring it is to believe so strongly in something that simply isn't so.

The dog's name being 'King' has to be a hint. Gotta be SK. I am settling on that.

I have this horrid feeling that David is heading for a horrific ending. This doesn't seem to be the kind of show where a person can get better by confronting his demons; it's more like in the effort to confront your demons, you make yourself a slower target and easier to eat. It just feels like Lenny's going to win

So does mountain dew and redbull, but that shit never made me hungry enough to eat at an Arby's. So, uh, it's good for the economy.

Don't the fries sticking out of that burrito remind you of feelers on a Mollusk's head?

Oh, so like Putin then.

In Michigan, they call it "Faygo."

Gormless is exactly right. Why do these people want to dial everything back so much? "We never lost the culture wars! We were on a break!"

I would never have thought to phrase it that way, but now that you've mentioned it, Pence does indeed look like he could have been cloned from a bit of Session's dusty scrote.

Oh, I thought Lorne Michaels was going to shoot him in the ankles and make him wrestle feral puppies until his heart gave out. Instead, he's just leaving for a new show. Okay.

Whhhhhhhhhhhy is Sessions such an asshole? Seriously. Weed is the struggle of our age? This is the hill he wants to die on? "I fought the pot!"

50 Shades of Monday.

Good. Is there anything else?

Response isn't attack. Next you'll be asking why I'm so full of 'hate.'

I didn't head for a negative interpretation of what you wrote. You literally wrote a negative comment.

Why is "Gold star parents" in quotation? They were actual Gold star parents. There's also no point of comparison. The Khans were the parents of a soldier who died fighting for the U.S., who also happened to be Muslim. They were at the DNC to repudiate Trump's claims about the character of our Muslim citizenry.

Oh, he's going to get so many young soldiers killed as soon as he finds his excuse to pick a fight with someone. I'm sure he'll have plenty of bloody shirts to waive around soon.

The difference being the Tea Party reacting to things they suspected about Obama's nature versus the New York times covering the things that Trump is actually doing.

But I can't recall Obama or Bush parading the widow of a man whose father repudiated him for ineffectual leadership and getting his son killed. That seemed petty to my mind. Like going behind the family's back to get the result he wanted.

Now let's parade a traumatized widow before the eyes of the nation and make her clap like a hungry sea lion for three minutes. See folks? Winning.
