Jodorowsky is in big trouble.

The turntabilist crew The X-Ecutioners were formerly the X-Men.

"Fustian" is a really good word. Didn't have the space or inclination to mention multiplayer because that's not why most people play Mass Effect. With a word count you have to pick your battles

I keep missing Moon when it is up on Netflix. But we're talking about a whole different scope of pop sci fi aren't we? As much as I'd love to live in a universe where Moon is the type of big entertainment that rivals Star Treks and Star Wars I'm not going to hold my breath until that day comes.

Guiding the conversation.
Too much armchair line editing and not enough effusive praise of The Evil Dead II.

That's exactly what I meant. I just had to pad my review to meet the word count.

You should encourage the notion that you're some kind of review hit man, sent to put shitty games down. They'll speak your name in hushed tones and scatter when you come into the saloon.

There's a little bit of that. But the reason I bring up Spy Party is that there's the whole hiding within crowds thing going on. You're tying to blend into crowds of NPCs that share the same character model of all the people playing. At the same time that you're trying to avoid detection by mimicing one of the bots

ACII Multi
You missed out on the multiplayer here, man. It really is great and it plays a lot like a big budget version of Chris Hecker's Spy Party. I was skeptical too, but after my first round of sneaking up on other players and executing them (while avoiding a player tailing me) I didn't want to put the controller

What's up, guys?
You all done yelling at us yet?

I never gave Uncharted a 67. I scored it a B-, which is a fine grade for a decent, but not spectacular game. If you have a problem with the 67 take it up with Metacritic and their bullshit pseudo-science. Also: I'm totally out of crack, so if anybody has a hook up it would be much appreciated.

The reason their live shows were always so good is that the tapings were about half live - half taped. The wrote and rehearsed for live performance and it showed. The best part was that a taping rarely took longer than an hour — they really clipped along.

Court Sketch
I saw that same sketch at a Mr. Show revival in Los Angeles four or five years ago. It worked really well back then. Perhaps having all the regular players on stage helped.

The Source
You need to get out there pronto. I met a great bunch of gaming dorks hanging out there on Thursdays. My four years in Minneapolis were an orgy of board game awesomeness thanks to that place.

Uneven, yeah, but it hit the ground running and kept a good pace. That episode with the kids was a real stinker, though.

For sure. The procedurally generated levels are what makes the brutal difficulty of Spelunky palatable. Otherwise you'd have Mega Man 9, which is straight-up torture.

Training Tip
Learn to win headbutt battles. A caved in skull is a shitty way to go.

I keep a region free DVD player around just for show like this.
