Yeah, I think husbands got a completely different experience from the Brody segment than women or single guys. My wife was indifferent to the stress of him making the dinner engagement. "That's because you don't have a wife," I told her.

Nuts, and apparently historically ignorant. The yield of the Hiroshima bomb was 16 kilotons. If you're going for an over-the-top stage name, Wouldn't "Kill a Ton" be more appropriate anyway?

I certainly don't think the movie is merely an extended rake joke, I merely meant that was my reaction to it (since it's rake effect and not rake joke). At first I thought the filth & depravity was funny, then I thought, "Okay, this has gone too far", then I felt, "Alright, enough already, you can't shock me anymore"…

Unless I missed the announcement, I haven't heard anything about Strong Belwas. That fucker is comedy gold. Storm of Swords without Strong Belwas taking a dump outside the gates of Mereen would be a pale shadow of what it was.

I wanted him for Stannis. If they couldn't get him for Stannis, they weren't going to get him for Mance.

Even the quality competiton shows? I can understand if dancing isn't your thi.g, but it's hard to see how "So You Think You Can Dance" is "sickening." "Project Runway" is definitely sillier, with it's manufacturered drama and faux crises, but both shows can be genuinely educational to laypeople like me.

Agreed. I've struggled with a Pack & Play the first few times. Also, I've washed my hair in the sink dozens of times - sometimes you just can't take the time, and the prevelance of baby wipes around the house means you can often skip a shower or four.

Does it matter? Don't you pretty much have to train constantly from age 3 to have any chance of being in most of those Olympic events?

Maybe I wasn't clear - it's only for celebrities appearing as themselves, not in a role.

When I was a kid I used to play a sort of reverse version of this game - trying to figure out which shows did or didn't violate their own "celebrity" consistency, which, by extension, meant they all existed in a fictional universe where there was no cross-contamination from ours.
By this I mean that nobody who was…
