agree on the grower label…i think a lot of that comes from the fact that matt's voice is so distinctive that upon initial listen many songs "sound the same".  it takes a couple listens to pick up the subtleties of each songs.

totally agree with you on humiliation.  i passed it over the first couple of listens, but now after probably a dozen listens straight through (i have a long commute), i think humiliation is the best song on the album.

yup!  saw them twice on the boxer tour (headline at 930 club, and then as an opener for REM & modest mouse), then twice on the high violet tour (both as headliner - one indoor show and one outdoor).
