Built For Greed

Yeah, Ford's pretty much always been that way on Conan.

"The human head weighs eight pounds, you fucking cunt."

For a while there
I thought this was one of those "young hotshot meets shady older mentor" movies that Pacino seems to specialize in (e.g. The Recruit, Two for the Money, etc.), just swapping in De Niro.

P.S. yes, I know Patton Oswalt said this first. But after reading geek umpteen times in the above interview, the resentment is mine.

I'm proposing a moratorium
on the word geek. It's been co-opted by media outlets and corporations trying to seem "hip" so they can sell their product to a certain demographic for whom they actually have nothing but contempt.

A few
Smooth Criminal (as mentioned a few pages back), Paradise City (thanks to my brother) and Jesus Is Just Alright by the Doobs (thanks to my pop's love of what he called "road music").

Right on, Girard. "Smooth Criminal" was the first song I can remember looking forward to hearing. Still have my original Bad cassette from when I was four, and I used to rock the SHIT out of my Fisher Price walkman, let me tell you.

Or maybe Joe Pesey.

You eat pieces of Sheen for breakfast?

Yeah! Stupid high-functioning drug addicts making our moral judgments all complicated and shit.

When doesn't he weep?

You don't know what you're talking about, ya dumb Okie.

D?
Haters gon hate. I thought it was the funniest ep so far this year. Fred Armisen's hacky Latino comic bit was hilarious.

I'm going counterpoint on that oneā€¦ though our O'Neal does have enough bitterness to have been a child star.

Did you see him repressin' me? You saw it, didn't you?

Badass Canadian
Bone Claws
Government Experiment
Adamantium Claws
Singing Australian

And apparently Five Brothers is going to be a real thing.

Lorre*

That extended quotation now has me wondering whether Sheen hasn't been trolling the AV Club boards as Tarkovsky's Former AD all these years.

UK actors have played most of the big American pop culture icons: Bale as Batman, this new douche playing Superman, Jonathan Rhys Meyers playing Elvis, etc.
