It's greatest strength is also it's greatest weakness: after exploring new territory, it turns into a more conventional NOES installment in the last half hour… but, then again, it HAS to. THAT'S THE POINT OF IT ALL.

This is why I prefer their Frankenstein films to their Dracula films- the Frankensteins have BIG CHUNKS OF CONCENTRATED CUSHING, while the Draculas have Lee showing up once in a while as per contratual obligation.
