We're apparently the same age — agree completely as I was in the same place. I would add the Weezer album to Dookie that marks this time for me. So many changes that year….

America is just fine. I love the show, but the musical montages, pauses, and repeat exposition begged for an editor. The voice-over from Jax was three minutes! It was distracting and caused the show to drag this year. It has nothing to do with hate-watching.
Agree with you, PaNoire. He had his reasons for each choice, clearly saw all of them, and wasn't a pretentious jerk about it. The idea of Kerry being scared enough to walk out of a movie is fantastic.
Yep. At my school, everyone had to do it. As you stepped out of the showers, the teacher would hand you a towel and mark your attendance. I remember the horrified looks on my college friends' faces when I shared this story. It was only as I was saying it out loud that I realized it was wildly inappropriate.
Can we at least address his ponytail prior to killing him off? So terrible.
There is no way this isn't the exact line. I support an "and SHOBMX" under the written by when it happens.
With you 100%
This episode broke me. I tried to stay with it until the end, but I'm waving the white flag. I thought that if I could make it through the "tableau" crap, I could make it through anything. I wish I could cut out the piece of my brain where my Dexter memories are.
Me too — watching them tonight. I'll see you over on those reviews for your take.

Roger, you're among friends. We'll get through this together. It's almost over.
Picking on a kids song because it's annoying and repetitive, using a code word because he couldn't bear to hear it's name, and transcendental meditation. Basically, this is paint by numbers dickness. I'm disappointed.
Agree. Generally, one must tell a salesman no a couple of times before they drop stories about being a murderer. At least, that's been my experience.
I will watch the rest of the episodes for no other reason than I have watched all of the preceding ones. I assume I have company here.
Best part of that show was Sebastian lobbying for the band to be named, "Savage Animal". He kept saying the name over and over. It was hilarious to watch the other guys just stare at their shoes and wait for his pitch to end and then go with the, "so, anyway…."
Thanks for the info - I'm glad others share my rage.
Totally agree with you on "No Country…". Having the big confrontation happen off-screen was ridiculous. I've never heard a proper defense of it but would be interested to understand that choice.
I assume the funny will be driven by the low stakes trials he presides over in contrast to what could have been in Italy.
Lori has earned a "the" as is the convention here.
Never read the comic and I got the vibe that the walkers were rapists - I guess Black Cesar is right.
