They're both foxy?

I saw it back in the day, and the only thing I remember about it is that Kevin Costner's character was all emotionally tortured, and it turned out that what he was upset about was that he had been in the Secret Service, assigned to Reagan's detail, and when Reagan was shot - not killed, just shot - he had the day off.

That was a perfect ending for me too, and I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned in the recap.
It has its roots in early seasons, where Buffy often said didn't want to be chosen, and wanted to have a normal life. Over the course of the series she let go of that desire, accepted her position, and stepped up to lead. Now
