Very entertaining episode. My favorite episode since "The Other Woman" (I really disliked the gist of season six with the exception of a few installments). About halfway through I thought, "this is what Mad Men should have turned into seasons ago". It was a tad too madcap at times, but it felt like the lamination that

I agree that the finale was disappointing but not for the same reasons as you. Yes, the patented thing is too extreme even in the world of this show. The world of this show would have to be even further away from reality in order for something like that to work. They've smartly made that area semi-fuzzy. The pacing in

I also think that's a sign of just how close Felix and Alison have become, which could lead to conflict.

I was anticipating being meh towards the premiere, but that was a ridiculous amount of fun.

The second half of season one is near perfect except for its finale. It was a different show then, but it was a damn good show. I'm tempted to say season one is the best, but I know that's so against the general adoration of season two. Season three had too much dead air in the middle. And I didn't care for the

"Lorraine"

And watch neither the Sixers nor the Bucks get the top pick.

Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Orphan Black, Fargo, Veep, Silicon Valley. January has it beat as far as sheer numbers, but they're about even quality wise.

My Cavs in the lurch another damn season. Damn that franchise and that way too young team. I'll be putting my support behind Brooklyn, the Bulls and the Clips.

She's passable at pouty, but when she has be truly emotional (angry or legitimately sad) it didn't work for me. And her limitations became more pronounced as the rest of the young cast improved and she stayed at season one level.

Where's Becky? Buddy deserves to be higher.

I'm faulknerster. It's really frakking annoying that disqus keeps randomly switching me between accounts.

She's fantastic in this show. She's been rather meh elsewhere. She looked lost in midst of all that camp on AHS. And after a solid start she just gave up on Nashville (as did I after a couple of episodes into this season). But she's undoubtedly fantastic on this series. Her unsubtle, earthy voice is part of the reason

No misfires. But a few wobbly episodes. It had enough characters and arcs to get away with the format. It can work well for one or two seasons, but must shows run out of steam for a couple of seasons. TGW, as good as this season has been, would be improved with a 14-16 episode season.

It worked before they got into the basement. Everything after that was snoozy.

"Wind Sprints" was my first episode of FNL. I thought it was pretty on point then. In hindsight it's rather wobbly and a lil' overwrought even by this show's standards. Still, it might be the easiest random episode to appreciate for first time watchers.

Minka is the one person in the young cast that never got more confident with their acting throughout the series. You could tell the writers were aware of her limitations, because after season one they never wrote any legitimately emotional scenes for her. That ended up help disguising Minka's acting but made Lyla even

Ali, and it's not even a contest.

Until now I've read nothing but praise for the Big Love-type aspect of the season, so we'll see. Hopefully with so much of the back story out of the way it can flesh itself out and step up to its potential. But still, it's all about getting Maslany back on my TV/computer screen.

I'm actually not sure I'd have nominated her for her work as Sarah alone in season one. I would have probably nominated her for Alison. I'm assuming Rachel will join Sarah-Alison-Cosima as a main clone this season.
