Nurse Jackie was my fourth or fifth best show of the year, and no previous season was even in my ten. It was a near great offering. Also, it gave up pretending to be funny, which sorta helped.

Show me a picture of Todd and these dudes to preview whether that'd be worth watching.

Definitely a contender for most unnecessary article of the year. This re-vamping of half hour shows is hardly revolutionary. And Nurse Jackie wasn't even one of your ten best half hour shows of the year, yet you jizz over Girls? Bully.

I just can't read an episode-by-episode critique of something I've never seen. To me it's like reading a chapter-by-chapter critique of a book I've never read.

These criticisms are awesome, but did people decide other people's opinions were better than going to the subject yourself and coming up with your own?

Strangely enough, the ending is the only thing I really like about this episode.

It blew me away when I first saw it, but that ending hasn't aged well (that can really be said about a lot of the series). I think it's mainly due to the song they used in that montage. FNL definitely did that in the future montage better.

I'm in. I just can't dismiss a show that had a near great season and a 1/2. Plus, I always figured Homeland post season one would have great peaks and valleys. I'm holding out hope, dammit! especially since there's a chance Brody will be in the background for a lot of season three and Carrie will return to her spy

A lot of the humor is season four felt forced to me. In fact, I think season four is when the show began to lose its way on the comedy front. Plus, as messy as season one is the overall arc is more satisfying than the arc of season four. On the the hand, I really don't think there's much of a difference between

Season one is a hot mess, but it's a fun hot mess, which is more than I can say for the gist of seasons four, six and seven. It also contained two of the series' best episodes: "Prophecy Girl" and "Angel" as well as a few pretty good ones. I've always thought season one was underrated, at least compared to the other
