I think it has a ways to go before it challenges The Shield, which had at least three great seasons and a couple of good seasons. Justified has had one near-great season and two okay ones. And if this season of AHS continues to have this level of quality it will be the best drama on FX. Though I have no trust in the

I think most of the critics who liked it admitted that it was shaky. The acting, characterization and mood seems to get the most praise.

Anyone with some common sense, good taste and a refusal to take piss for water knows who Perry is. If that makes me and all these other people bitter snobs, oh well. I put a higher premium on talent and being true to yourself than profiting off a needy audience. I thought maybe one thing that would happen with Perry's

I've managed to sit through several of Perry's movies, BTW and have seen
more than bits of his other flicks. So, I'm not ignorant to his lack of
talent.

I'm starting to catch up with this season. It has improved. It's become good enough to keep watching, but even its biggest fans admit it's not on the level of FNL. It's become a solid family drama, but FNL was always much more than that. This is still a pretty safe, sometimes generic show.

More than anything else I resent that he's a terrible filmmaker. And I resent that he's had to put aside who he is in order to not divide his fan base. Charity doesn't dismiss his lack of talent and hypocrisy. Also, feeding women the theme of finding god and a good-looking leads to happiness is pretty disruptive. Just

No, I was offended by the way they insulted Perry. The joke just ended up being: he's actually gay, y'know? Plus, by that point Boondocks had  had a string of poorly executed, one-joke episodes, so my patience was wearing thin.

This wasn't the most engaging or imaginative episode, but it was consistently funny. And at least Hazel went out on a relatively high note.

I actually didn't like that episode and thought their Perry was borderline offensive. Anyone who's not an older, black Christian woman in denial knows Perry is closeted hypocrite who makes crappy movies, and it's fine to parody that, but him only writing plays so he can hook up with men was a bit much. Plus, Boondocks

She was nominated for the Golden Globe and the SAG award. When she was snubbed, despite the academy's bias against action/comedies, it was a surprise.

The Walking Dead is actually pretty good this season. Dexter is still not nearly at its best, but it's having a bit of a rebound. Boardwalk Empire had a good second season. Overall, however, I could take or leave them.
