That really bothered me as well, and I'm amazed by the A rating, the first three episodes were a return to form but the rest of it was incredibly patchy, with some pretty shoddy acting on display and storylines which didn't really go anywhere. Plus I think the guy who plays Mark Latimer had way too much screen time,

If they were good I'd claim they were canon. Unfortunately they're just very very average, kind of like a Rick and Morty gas leak year. Which is a shame as I really wanted to like them but they just didn't make me laugh much.

Yeah. there's an interview here which confirms that: https://millennium-thisiswh… - I was disappointed to hear it as well as the season 2 finale is one of my favourite ever episodes of tv.

I know what you mean about Near Dark. I was obsessed with trashy horror when I was 13 / 14, but then I rented this out one day and was really disturbed by it, it wasn't like anything else I'd seen at the time.

I'm a huge fan of Will's work as well and wish he was a staff writer rather than freelancer. Or just hired to do five Random Roles a week, I'd genuinely have no issue with that. :)

I was wondering that and so did a bit of googling but couldn't really find out anything. Apart from that his twitter feed makes it clear he's a huge fan of the mostly forgotten 80's pop star Alison Moyet.

On the flipside, Doctor Who's been a massive success, Twin Peaks is back and is a thing of beauty, and Arrested Development is finally supposed to begin shooting very soon.

I'd mostly agree with what you say there but rate it a little lower, as like you say the judges really should have used the gong a lot more often, and some of the acts who were praised were pretty weak. I did quite enjoy Myers weirdness, even if it's not actually that funny, and will stick around for a few more

I thought that too, and that Grohl's response was pretty weak too, I mean if I gave a friend a book as a present and then for my birthday he gave me the same book back I'd think he was a lazy arse who couldn't even be bothered to think of something different. And then I would kill him. I like to over-react in such

When I was fresh out of university I got a job working on the first series of Big Brother in the UK (though I should stress I no longer work in tv as my life has gone horribly wrong. Or right. I'm still not sure which) and had to sign a contract that absolutely astonished me. To this day I'm not supposed to even talk

Yeah, you need a host who can be viciously cutting at times and I'm not sure if Reggie has it in him. We'll see I guess.

Thanks for the info about the US Taskmaster, it's an interesting mix though I have to say I'm a bit disappointed by some of the choices and was hoping for people like Paul F. Tompkins or Paul Scheer, but I guess they're too high profile for a series like this.

I want a happy ending, trust me I do, but I'm mentally preparing myself for something even more disturbing than the season two finale.

I'd suggest Ash vs The Evil Dead. And fight anyone who argues with me!

I thought the second season was an improvement on the first, but it's still a frustratingly slow show with too much filler, and given the events of the finale I don't think I'm going to bother with the third season (if they make it of course, which given the way the show's treated in the US would surprise me quite a

I disagree, if only because of the way his death was handled on the show, with nobody that upset (bar I think Alex Kingston) because he'd been such an arse to them over the years. Indeed somebody actually joked "Man, he must have really upset helicopters in a previous life" (or something along those lines) which was a

I'm based in the UK and don't consider the US a joke country, and I don't think any of my friends do either. A terrible mistake was made, but hell, we screwed up last year with Brexit and if May wins the general election next week we'll be in a far worse off position than you guys.

That's not how it was for my friends and I. We were just incredibly excited that there was going to be a third movie (I was only 7 when Empire was released and not really aware of the concept of trilogies / franchises) and we loved Return of the Jedi upon it's release too. When we hit our teens we became aware of the

Well there's Doctor Who - Bill's an out and proud lesbian, the Doctor is bi-sexual, and Nardole, well christ, Nardole will fuck anything with a pulse.

Heh, I'm the same with when it comes to trailers at the cinema, and I sometimes quietly sing lalalalalalala so that I don't hear anything. I think we can all agree that my girlfriend is the most amazing woman in the world for putting up with such madness!
