I wouldn't be that harsh but I largely agree, I wanted to like it and was intrigued by the ideas it proposes, but about 45 minutes in I guessed the whole future time line stuff (and I'm usually rubbish at doing such things) and I wasn't interested in any of the characters. Amy Adams was okay at best, but Renner was

White Heat 2: Even Whiter Heat

I love this show so much, it's my favourite thing on right now and I wish more people were watching, it truly is a thing of beauty. It's also not what it looks like from the trailers either, so please don't judge it by them, the actual show is much much more weirder and silly and endlessly inventive.

Yeah I've just been reading about this and it seems pretty disturbing, especially as on the Go Fund Me page Vivian is deleting any messages which ask if the money will be spent on psychiatric care, or what the money will be spent on in general, which really isn't good.

I thought it was okay, though the budget was clearly pretty low, and the ending frustrated - though that was because I thought it was never going to be picked up as an ongoing series.

It's not enough. Though to be fair for me nothing would be unless they changed the name of the site to The Jon Glaser Loves Gear Club.

Still no coverage on Jon Glaser Loves Gear? Despite it being one of the funniest shows of the last, well, however long ago it was since Delocated aired. Oh, and what happened to that Jon Glaser interview made up of readers questions? Come on AV Club, a show like this needs your love!

I completely agree with CBS's viewpoint, I mean there was that Star Wars movie thing out last year and that hardly made any money at all.

Gah, I feel a bit mean saying that. But then I was once forced to watch Nutty Professor II: The Klumps and I hold terribly long grudges. I need psychiatric help!

RIP Lupita, at least now you won't have to pretend that you like your grandchildren's films ever again.

Unfascinating fact: Anne V. Coates was born in the same small English town as I was, Reigate in Surrey. It's only other claim to fame is that Fatboy Slim once called it a suburban hellhole in the NME, and the local weekly paper dedicated three week's worth of front pages to complaining about this. But that's because

I really hope Phoebe Waller-Bridge takes home best actress for Fleabag, she's astonishingly good in it.

I was concerned about the episode as I too am a bit tired of that concept, but I thought they pulled it of with aplomb, a superb mix of wacky humour and genuinely disturbing moments. Plus Campbell was on amazing form, especially in the final scenes.

Likewise. It was a really touching article and whilst I never struggled with heroin, Cohen saw me through some incredibly harsh times and I'll always love him for that.

If they don't advertise this film with the tagline "Featuring the star of Detectorists" I for one will be outraged.

Oh cool, I didn't know that, thanks for the info.

I'm not sure who it was (and my apologies for that) but someone on here recommended I read Shutter and I just wanted to thank them for it. I've absolutely loved it, it's endlessly inventive and beautifully drawn, and one of the most enjoyable comics I've read in years. So thank you again kind sir or lady, you are a

Exactly. Farah complimented Dirk not because he found the room, but because of the things he observed within and that his theory (that Patrick Spring had planned all of this) appears to be very likely true.

I think it's time the av club funds Will's own chat show. Especially if each episode featured only one guest, and lasted two hours at the very least. :)
